「This is a historic property nearing 100 years old. Don't expect fancy remodeled rooms, but they are charming and comfortable. There's an excellent restaurant and bar on site with live music most nights. I loved getting an actual key to the room. They have complimentary coffee and tea out all day. You get real glasses in the room and maid service every day. Staff are amazing too.The hotel is a rarity in the modern world. 」

「Nice hotel in the middle of the Taos main plaza. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel/plaza. Hotel parking is behind the hotel, at a cost of $10 per night. Rooms are not your typical hotel style rooms. They have a rustic character to them that is different from the conventional hotels most people use. Note: When I stayed there in August 2025, there was remodeling being done on the plaza itself, so part of it looks like a construction site. However...

「I only stayed for a day but it was a stay to remember. The check in time was later than I’m used to but you have your own parking spot reserved with your room, you walk though a beautiful garden to get to the room, we reserved the storyteller suite, so our view faces the setting sun which was gorgeous.
