「Nice spacious unit with everything you need. The TV was small and just free to air stations but I believe they are in the middle of upgrading TVs to all room. The motel apparently has spectacular views to Mt Taranaki but unfortunately there was too much fog and cloud during my visit to see it. Would definitely stay again if visiting Hawera」

「Unfortunately I wasn’t very impressed and the only saving grace was that we were only there to shower & sleep, the rest of the time we were out and about doing things with friends and family. The rooms whilst clean, were very rundown and outdated. The shower lining was coming adrift at the bottom of the shower box. There was evidence of mould around the step of the shower box. 「Adequate room. Pub below noisy. Power sockets by bed don't work. Extraction fan in bathroom needs cleanout. Staff were lovely and was so appreciative of late checkin.」

「Beautiful location on the mountain, walk out the door and onto the trails. Quaint, rustic, comfortable, an open fire each night and delicious home cooking made for a relaxing stay. Dean and the staff really looked after us. A great two nights away.」
