"This house in the trees is absolutely wonderful. The hosts are amazing - warm and welcoming to the max plus very accommodating and lovely to talk to on the phone. Our stay was too short but hopefully there'll be a next time. We will definitely stay here again if we're visiting Sea Ranch or Gualala. I highly recommend The Beacon up in the Redwoods."

"The house was on a perfect setting. "Our Victorian King Suite had a large deck that faced the ocean wharf and had especially amazing view of the sunsets. Nice deck furniture to relax and take in the peaceful atmosphere. We also had the restful sound of ocean waves breaking in the wharf overnight that we could hear from the bed. The suite had a separate area for the king bed and small kitchen. There was a separate area for relaxing with a warm, comfy couch positioned so we could see the water and sky. There was a fireplace across from the couch that provided cozy heat. Great bathroom with a large shower and tub. The staff was great, especially Karen. She made us feel so welcome, we can’t wait to go back. There are also two great places to eat literally below the hotel. Excellent pizza at one, and great seafood at the other. The whole experience was five stars all the way."
