"Location is a little far from the station, 25 win walk, but it had a (small) onsen. Hotel site says there is a convenience store ten minutes away, but there’s actually a large supermarket right next to the hotel and open till 10pm."

"Magical setting!!! Amazing staff, wonderful breakfast and super clean! Beds were comfortable and onsens were therapeutic!"

"If you are looking to experience how Japanese travel, sleep on tatami rooms and eat a good selection of Japanese food. Then this hotel is a good choice. Your room includes a breakfast and dinner buffetes and most people wear the colorful yukata provided by the hotel. The property is a bit out of date but the public bath is quite nice. Transportation into the city is limited and taxi is about $20 USD"

"Wonderful ryokan! Whilst not positioned directly on the river, it’s just a short walk to it. For the rest: superb rooms, baths and the breakfast is unmistakably the best in any onsen of that grade. Top marks!"
