「We really enjoyed the location. It was perfect for us with a toddler. Had a lot of fun in the pool and enjoyed the surrounding restaurants and aquarium. The room was comfortable and clean. The Riverwalk behind the hotel is a beautiful walk to end the day. 」

「The room was beautiful and clean. Very easy to get around and go into town. There was a restaurant walking distance. Everything else is a short car ride or uber ride away. Everyone was extremely friendly and willing to help out when needed. I would definitely recommend!」

「Beautiful property! View was awesome, nice beach with chairs. The room could use some updating, stove top was broken so our morning coffee was delayed as the burner was very slow to heat the water for our French press we travel with. The view from our room was peaceful however the barbecue area was in direct view and there was always garbage piled up and was not pleasant to see. Overall great stay! 」

「My boyfriend and I stayed at The Menhaden for my birthday, and it was truly an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff incredible. The entire property was spotless — especially our room, which was beautifully maintained and so comfortable. I had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The location is perfect too, just a short walk to everything in town. I couldn’t recommend The Menhaden more. 10/10 experience. Thank you...

「We enjoyed an amazing wine weekend at Vine and Sand. Beautiful home and relaxing, enjoyable stay. Great location for visiting vineyards as well as the villages of Southold and Greenport. 」

「What a very special place this is. Wilfred and Vida are truly brilliant hosts. When we arrived they sat with us and had a lovely chat about the house and the area, recommended places to eat and provided lots of local intelligence. Tea and coffee is served in the room at 8am followed by a very generous and delicious breakfast. The two of them are a totally charming couple with their great sense of humour, stories and kindness They could give lessons on what true hospitality should be. 」

「This was the perfect, in town place to stay for the two of us. Located on a quiet street of well-maintained homes, and with parking right outside, it was a short 1-1/2 block walk to all the shops, restaurants, ferry, docks, etc. The apt is small, but clean and tidy, sun-filled and air-conditioned. We loved staying here and will again in the future.」
