「What a mess. Under construction at most of hotel. Desperate needs complete gutting and renovation. Our balcony was locked off because it was falling apart. Wanted sunset view side, but view ruined by construction and messy grounds. Room very old and yucky. Stay away.」

「We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge at Schroon Lake. Our room was in the West Lodge which was an easy walk to the dining lodge. Our room was clean, our bed comfortable, and high end amenities were included. We enjoyed relaxing on the private covered balcony in wooden Adirondack chairs with a distant view of the lake. The Lodge beach is being upgraded and should be reopened by June 15, 2026. We were impressed how family friendly the resort is with added bunk beds in the room, outdoor yard...
