「Loved the proximity to campus and all the shops- great place to stay to hang out with your Hokie!!!」

「This is an older hotel, but you go here for the history which was incredible knowing that you are standing and walking on the sets of A great movie. That’s the best part and the reason why you come here. No air conditioning, but with the fans and low to mid 80’s, it was perfectly fine for us. Even got cold at night and had to turn off the fan. 「The room and property were dirty. There was an unclean odor and vibe overall. We stayed here due to limited options with graduation weekend at Virginia Tech happening the same time we had a wedding to attend. Our bedspread had a red stain on it. The carpet had several white stains strewn in different areas. The chair in the corner was stained and filthy. We didn’t use it at all. The overall condition of the property was dingy. 「For the one night we needed it, it served its purpose. Room was spacious enough, clean and comfortable, including the bathroom. The price was fantastic. Place does need some upkeeping and breakfast was kind of ok.」
