"Applebutter Inn is a breath of fresh air! The historic and cozy building is a welcome change from chain hotels. Julie is so kind and hospitable, we felt like old friends by the time we left. We were all charmed by her companion, Chiquita Banana, who is the sweetest pup you'll ever meet! Our room was immaculate and comfortable. We hope to make it back to Slippery Rock some day, and will definitely stay at Applebutter Inn again!"

"Fantastic property! The hosts were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the place was beautiful. I'd recommend it to anyone!"

"Pleasantly surprised. It’s a nice, quiet and clean homey spot but there is nothing to do in the surrounding area."
