Because we were here on a Monday, we had the entire inn and all its amenities to ourselves. The room is very comfy, the common area are tastefully decorated and the inn is convenient to Slippery Rock University. At least our second time here, and we’ll be back

Highly recommend!

A cute, cozy inn with lots of personality. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. I was staying there to visit my son at SRU and they allowed him to have breakfast with me at no additional cost.

Nice stay at Applebutter Inn

The facility was very nice. We stayed in The Rock room. Breakfast was a buffet of eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, juice/coffee, and delicious toast with apple butter.

We stayed for one night and we were just traveling in the area. The property is very nice and a great change from the chain hotels. There is a great deal of character in the furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. We found places to eat nearby.The staff recommended a dinner place that was good and we never would have found it on our own. One thing I found a little strange was that this place is rented without any staff on site. They were responsive by text, but I would have preferred to interact with a real human. Another guest arrived when we were there and rang the doorbell repeatedly. I felt that I had to answer and talk to them, although they did realize fairly quickly that they had to call the owners.

Definitely not worth the price. The room was adequate and clean. At 6 am I requested breakfast at 8:30 AM instead of 9 AM, so we could make a 9 am orientation at Slippery Rock University. Despite giving 3 hours notice and only asking that it be moved up 30 minutes, they said NO. Instead, we were welcomed to instant oatmeal packets. This inflexibility and disregard for our guest experience left a bad taste. Obviously they don't much care. Definitely not worth the price. I didn't see a singĺe person who worked there during our stay - we did self check in at 4:45 pm friday eve and no one was around at 8:35 am Saturday morning when we left. 6 hours later I had to email AND text to get a receipt sent to me.
