「Cumberland Ramada has met my hotel needs well. Over the last two winters I have commuted to Cumberland for weekday work. Last winter I stayed in multiple area hotels, but this winter settled on repeated stays at Ramada Downtown almost exclusively. The place is not fancy. But the rooms are clean, of ample size, with comfortable beds. Meanwhile, the price fits my reimbursement budget. I always request a town side room to get less train noise. 「The Cumberland inn and spa has so much potential… and yet they do not maintain the property in a manner required. The bed mattress was well past its lifespan with sagging areas where both of us slept, the smell of room 2 is the most awful smell of cat urine we have encountered. We ended up purchasing candles and febreeze to mark the horrible stench of the room. Lighting in the room was inadequate and made unpacking etc very difficult. 「The location and space was amazing! Super convenient and near everything Bedford has to offer. Only area of improvement is cleanliness, we had some dishes from the cabinets that were dirty and the bathroom mirror was dirty. Otherwise perfect and convenient stay. 」
