"Probably the nicest and most idyllic place we’ve ever stayed, this was an exceptionally well kept and peaceful location to stay in the Douro. Telmo was so kind and helpful before and during our stay, as were all the staff. We had an excellent tour and tasting, and we decided to eat in both minus (a good decision). Can’t recommend highly enough."

"Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. "

"In its design, this is certainly a concept hotel, which makes it both appealing and rather different. Wayfinding about the hotel was strange and difficult, though our suite was spacious and the staff extremely friendly.
