「Inexpensive hotel right in the heart of Ioannina. The PLUS is they have their own private parking lot— worth the $ right there. Good signage directing you as well. Lady at front desk was so friendly and helpful. Elevator/ lift is very small, so could be a problem if there were lots of people waiting. Nice lighting in room. Windows had a metal pull-down shade as well as curtains— nice blackout for those that like that.」

「This is a family-oriented hotel/water park 15-minutes (20 euros by taxi) north of Preveza. I stayed 1 night then moved to another hotel in city center. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Clean, comfortable room. No amenities like even cups in the room, but got a cup on request. Great breakfast. Easy walk to beach.」

He kindly provided the idea to park our car in Vikos village and arranged taxi to pick us up from there and take us to Monodendri to start the Vikos Gorge hike. 「To us it was a little ‘oasis’.Angelos and Dina were wonderful hosts.Beautiful pool and facilities,including breakfast.We had a car but beach was only a few minutes away by car.A real gem!」
