"Overall 5 stars. We brought our own fans but wish it was readily available in the property.. probably a ceiling fan in the rooms? Leaving the windows open wasn't always ideal due to noise of neighbors. Close to the pier and porthminster beach. Wasy to find and perfe t location."

"Very convenient and suited us well. There is a slight smell of damp however on entry to the lounge. You might consider having a lighter weight quilt in the summer but that is only a refinement. All the basics are excellent. "

"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "Wanted a few days away to see some of the attractions around the area. For 3 adults this was ideal accommodation. Everything we needed was there. Even an on site indoor pool. We didn’t use it but it was a fair size. Very quiet and lovely views of the countryside. The owner sent us details of check in etc and quickly answered emails. "

"Excellent apartment located right by the beach and train station, beautiful views across st ives and so quiet and peaceful, you can hear the waves on the beach at night. Nice touches from the hosts, towels, bedding, and all kitchen bits you would need ready on arrival. Would come again 100%. Thank you ♥️"
