「Unless you're really on tight budget, I do not recommend this hotel. The room looks nothing like the pictures. There is a small window facing to the staircase that can not open. So ventilation is poor. There is no desk in the room, also no rack for hanging clothes. The good thing is that staff was very nice and there is a shared kitchen and refrigerator.」

「Our recent stay at Punta Alameda could not have been more wonderful. Our family of 5 adults visited Mexico City from Los Angeles for a week of Día de Muertos celebrations and the Mexico Grand Prix and the hotel was in a perfect location - walkable to almost everything (the Zocalo, Plaza de la Reforma, Bellas Artes, Roma Norte & Condesa, Templo Mayor etc etc) but also quiet, tucked away in a very safe feeling mixed commercial & residential area. Tons of great restaurants all around (we especially...

Light sleepers can avoid on weekends (or Tuesdays! Luche Libre is around the corner). Outside that, fine and basic. Breakfast was available but very bare bones.」
