Although frequented by tourists this area is still in it's natural state,the residents are minimalist and friendly. Speaking Spanish would be a plus but not critical to communicate.The new Airport is beautiful and modern. Don't drink tap water or ice

Tons of monkeys in this area. You can get pretty close. Beautiful deserted beaches for miles in either direction. Amazing isolated nature experience
