I stayed here for a week and I would rate it as the worst resort I have ever stayed in. Beach was bad , ocean too rough, and only one beach bar for entire beach and it was bad service.

We visited Heraklion, Chania, and Agios Nikolaos in addition to Rethymno. All things considered, it was the best place to stay. The street along the ocean, with shops and restaurants, was walkable and made things easy.
