「Our villa was a pleasant surprise, poised up on a knoll at the beginning of the Ficus Trail with a lovely garden. Meals were beyond words, creative, beautifully plated and insanely good.」

「Overall excellent. Only (minor) problem was that the first night was pretty cold, and there was no heat in the room. The second night the host provided a ceramic electric heater and that made the cabin very cosy.」

We even met the new owner who was bringing in new bedding and has great plans. The pool was delightful and just what we needed after hiking the national Park. Fillip cooked us our breakfast himself. 「Das Zimmer bzw. die Hütte ist wahrscheinlich die letzte, die noch dringend renoviert werden müsste, es sei denn, man möchte es wirklich ganz schlicht haben!! Ein Kühlschrank war dabei. Für eine Nacht haben wir das ausgehalten! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Alles in allem; eine schöne Atmosphäre! Vielen Dank, beste Grüße!」

「They let us check in earlier than the listed time. And because we were early, gave us a choice of rooms. The room had air conditioning which was great. However the bedding only had a top & bottom sheet A light blanket would have been better. Hooks in the bathroom would be best. 」
