「All staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating regarding giving what to visit and booking taxis etc. The breakfast staff were always efficient and friendly setting up a great feel for the day.」

「I wouldn't say this is a 4* hotel. The rooms are very basic but comfy bed. The gym and pool is open to the public so its busy. The hotel cleaners were very helpful but the reception staff were not. Our key card consistently didn't work and when we asked reception to order a taxi for us so we could get to our wedding they were not helpful at all - surely reception staff at a 4* hotel are capable of ordering taxi's for guests?」

「The newly renovated Abbey Court rooms are sparkling, lovely and incredibly quiet and peacefull. The one draw back is that there are quite a few small flights of steps all over the place. The dungeon bar has excellent food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is great. I did not try the library bar but the room is beautiful.. The building itself is spectatuclar.」

「We stayed for one night in a family room. The hotel’s location is excellent, and the property appeared clean and well maintained throughout. The staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful. There is an APCOA car park on site, and the hotel provides complimentary parking there, which was a great bonus. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so we can’t comment on the food.
