This historic district hosts the famous San Fermín festival with its heart-pounding Running of the Bulls each July. The neighborhood thrives on its pintxo bar culture where locals and visitors mingle over small plates and regional wines. Centuries-old buildings house boutique shops selling traditional crafts and festival memorabilia. The ancient citadel and Renaissance Town Hall showcase Pamplona's rich architectural heritage.

The neighborhood provides easy access to Pamplona's historic center with comfortable walking distances to major attractions.

The neighborhood balances quiet residential life with affordable dining options serving hearty Navarrese cuisine. Visitors can explore the University of Navarra Museum or relax in local parks. Well-connected by city buses, Iturrama provides a genuine Spanish experience just 15 minutes from Pamplona's historic center.

San Juan

Medieval churches and traditional Navarrese buildings line cobblestone streets where daily life unfolds at a relaxed pace. Escape the tourist crowds in this residential haven. Explore Parque de la Taconera's peaceful paths or discover small neighborhood plazas with mature trees. The area's pintxo bars serve traditional Basque specialties in a genuinely local atmosphere. Walking these uncrowded streets offers the perfect way to experience true Pamplona culture.

Pamplona City Centre

Step back in time within Pamplona's historic center, where medieval walls embrace cobblestone streets and Gothic architecture. The Plaza del Castillo buzzes with café life while narrow passageways lead to the magnificent cathedral. Locals and visitors alike enjoy traditional pintxos bars along Estafeta Street. This neighborhood comes alive during the famous San Fermín festival with its thrilling running of the bulls. Explore cultural landmarks like Pamplona City Hall and Church of San Saturnino to discover the rich Basque heritage. The entire district can be easily explored on foot.

"Clean and comfortable room, although it looked a bit tired (halls and bathroom). Breakfast was good and plentiful which is a + for us as we can get a good breakfast before our long days exploring the city. Polite and helpful staff. Perfect location just outside the main, more lively area so you get a quiet yet close enough room to go back to at the end of the day. Would recommend without hesitation."
