"The food in restaurant was alittle pricey but I thought worth it. The veggies were crisp and not being a big bread eater, the entree bread was crisp and light, as was the toast in the morning. All food is organic and it absolutely made a taste difference for me. "

"Lives up to the name- a very tranquil spot. Retreat-like guesthouse with beautiful gardens, 2x river views, comfortable and quiet interior. Furnishings organic and earthy, very tasteful. Enjoyed my stay some much I booked another night. Will return!!"

"When we arrived at Blue Lake Lodge no one was there and the place was all locked up. Tried to phone the lodge but rang out to a full answering machine. So clearly something wrong with their booking system. "
