"The July is a comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a quiet residential section of town. The hotel restaurant is good. Outside seating options make for a pleasant meal or cocktail. The staff is polite and attentive. Getting to and from the hotel to sights and restaurants is always a taxi or Uber. Nothing is within walking distance. Expect $15 to $20 for each ride by Uber. Taxis are mych more and should be avoided. "

I loved having a washer/dryer in the apartment as well as a laundry room free of charge if needed. The view of the canals was amazing. "We loved having a whole house to ourselves, complete with a mostly full kitchen! We felt safe and secure because of the gated entrance. Having the office closed at 5:00 most days was a bit challenging at times as we were often touring during the day and had questions in the evening. We didn't use the hotel's restaurants/bar, but there are tons of options right inside the airport (which is also a busy train station, with quick/east access to Amsterdam Centraal). We stayed two nights and commuted into Amsterdam...cheaper and better than a cramped/expensive room in the historic part of the city. I would definitely recommend"
