"Close to the centre of Gent with a tram stop directly outside to take you to the train station, or a 20 minute walk. Beds comfy, rooms clean and warm ,shower hot, good for the price. Cafés nearby if going out for breakfast. Other guests were noisy late one evening but this was quickly resolved by the night staff. The walls are a little thin. I have stayed here before some years ago and would stay again. "

"Very nice and helpful staff. Comfortable room with large bathroom and lovely shower. The structure is beautiful and in a good location. Great recommendations from staff about where to eat and what to see. The only thing I would change is upgrading from “standard room,” which seems to mean attic with skylights only and whacky steep stairs to manage, to a room on the first floor (one flight up). It appeared that the canal side first floor rooms were probably fantastic."
