"A lovely large old hotel overlooking sea in San Remo. It was obviously very grand in it's day. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the pool area. Room was a good size and lots of toiletries provided in bathroom. Pool was lovely, a good size and a with poolside bar. The only incident was when the staff that did the laundry charged over 70euros more as they checked a box on my laundry sheet stating I wanted expedited service. And the laundry came back wet. They quickly resolved the issue by taking away the upcharge and taking our clothes back and drying them completely."
