The hotel closed off the indoor pool after they noticed our family was in there and would not allow us to return. After staying at this Hyatt Regency a few time this appears to a trend when you are there on a slow day. I don’t think they want to service an area like this so they just make up an excuse that there is a maintenance issue. I have noticed the same pattern at other Hyatt Regencies as well, but not at other major hotel brands.

I called the staff at the Hyatt to let them know that the weekend was already paid for. Also to let them know that although Friday was paid for, we would arrive at a specific time on Saturday. They assured me that they would enter it into their system and that our room would be ready upon our arrival on Saturday. When I went to check in, staff made us very nervous and uncomfortable by stating that our “room service was cancelled, no one entered our arrival time and date, and no rooms were available.” That is a horrible display of customer service to put guests in a bind and feel such discomfort of uncertainty. While waiting through their error and confusion, other parties experienced the same screw up. It appears that this hotel overbooked and wasn’t honest with guest. My spouse had to come out of pocket and pay for our stay from Saturday-Sunday and we already paid for that weekend in advance. That was an inconvenience and shouldn’t have happened. We were very displeased and our room wasn’t ready until Saturday evening. Horrible horrible horrible. Learn and train on good customer service, how to accommodate and make guests feel secure and as is the problem on the hotels part will be corrected in a timely manner.

We love staying at the Wynfrey Hotel, mainly because it is attached to the mall that my 5-year-old wants to be at 24/7, but the actual hotel itself is outstanding! Rooms are always super clean, and the staff is always courteous and helpful, but on this particular trip we had to wait over two and a half hours after our "promised check-in time at 4 pm." I understand they had a big group of people check-in at once, but it was a bit ridiculous having a lobby full of guests waiting for rooms and having to stand with my 5 YO because there were no open seats. So I would just call and make sure what your *actual* check-in time is estimated to be before walking in and expecting your room to be ready at 4 pm. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Excellent staff from check in to bartender, waitress and breakfast staff. Even if you didn’t interact with a staff member they would always greet you. The included breakfast was over the top. Not the usual continental style. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Great to be able to walk at the mall that was connected.

Staff was amazing. Everything was fine. Except for 1 thing. They put us next to the elevator which is normally not an issue. But the elevators were so loud. Not the people on them. The actual elevators. You could hear them going up and down all day and night. And it wasn’t quiet at all. Couldn’t sleep and went to front but they were sold out. Paid for the higher room hoping to have quiet stay with no one above us but was kept up all night with the elevator. Loudest elevator I’ve ever stayed by

I received my confirmation email before my visit and check in was 11am-4pm. I arrived at 2pm and was denied checkin. I was in town for a wedding and pressed for time. The staff seemed to not care at all. I’ve never been denied checkin when arriving at the proper time. There were many upset guest in the lobby. The facility is dated. The bathtub/shower combo felt as though I would fall through the floor. It was terrifying. I also received a burn from the hairdryer when I unplugged it. The plug burned my hand when I removed it from the electrical socket.

Everything about our stay here was perfect! The staff were super helpful and courteous, our room was very clean, breakfast wasn’t the greatest (it only costs $1/day so we weren’t expecting it to be), but everything else was 10/10 excellent! We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others!

My only complaint…the beds were uncomfortable. The linens were fine, but the mattresses need replacing. Hard spots, spongy spots…just not a luxurious or comfortable bed which made good rest impossible.

Nice hotel but was met with a strong smell of pot smoke when waiting for the elevator from the parking garage. Every staff member that I encountered was super friendly and helpful. The room was average and noisy traffic could be heard throughout the night (sounded like I was right next to the Daytona speedway).

Overall a nice place. Location felt a little cramp for driving in and out. Entrance and exit to parking was extremely tight to maneuver. Convenient for coming off of interstate and having a large mall attached was wonderful.

Great front desk staff. On site restaurant w/ great free breakfast buffet. 2 story Galleria attached shopping mall. Lots to do!

Used water bottles in my room, lotion smeared all over the sink. Valet was slammed and took forever. Otherwise clean, all staff was extremely kind despite being very busy.
