"It was my first time staying at the Kimpton Hotel Fontenot and I was very impressed from the moment I walked in. Marvin at the front desk was personable, full of information, and made me feel welcomed. I received a text after checking in from Emma at the front desk who also provided great service. Ross and Roland who work at the front door helping with valet parking made me feel like a special guest. I am lifetime member at Marriott with high status; however, my experience at this IHG property was far superior than the half-hearted "welcome" I have been receiving at Marriott properties who usually do not even upgrade me which used to be surprising. Next time I am back in New Orleans, I will stay at this property. If you go, be sure to read the display near the elevators that explains how the hotel got its name. I had a clean, spacious room. Very nice interior design throughout the property. "
