It was extremely convenient after having flown all day, rather than having to figure out getting into town if it's your first visit to Japan. The rooms aren't large, but are clean and the amenities provided are nice. I would definitely stay here again. "

"It is a huge hotel so expect some impersonal service. We stayed four nights and found its location excellent for tourism. Of course we were there for the cherry blossom season and Shinjuku is a great place to explore. The train station is walking distance and I found a very helpful YouTube video to show how to get from the station to the hotel"

It is also very close to the southern part of Ginza, so it is very easy to walk to Ginza and Tsukiji. The staff was very helpful and professional. "This hotel is a great and affordable option compared to the hotel within Ginza. We chose it because we wanted to have dinner in Tsukiji, within walking distance from Ginza and Shimbashi. The staff was helpful, and the room was comfortable, not suitable for huge luggage, but it was not a problem for us (we traveled light). Some people might not like the surrounding area since it's next to the fish market, but it's only dark, nothing to be concerned about. "

"When booking this hotel I saw mixed reviews. I am so glad we chose this. We stayed for 6 nights. It was wonderfully located - steps from Shibuya station to take you anywhere. "I spent 10 days in Tokyo with a friend at Hotel Niwa in one of their tatami rooms with two twin beds. This room was perfect and gave us the space to lay out all our luggage. For a hotel extremely close to a train line, it was surprisingly quiet as well!
