"Everything was great from service to cleanliness. There was only one thing i really didn't like. They charge you to use the parking lot even if you are staying at thier hotel. $40 a night to be exact. I stayed at many hotels and this is the only one that has done that."

"I like the vintage vibe of the Freehand and how well maintained that it is. The property had plenty of amenities like a rooftop pool and bar, on-site restaurant, gym and guest lounge. The hotel is centrally located in Downtown L.A. to bars, stores, shops and food. The only thing that I disliked is when staff would walk into my room without knocking at 9:30 am, this happened twice during my stay."

"We had an amazing time at this hotel. It was clean and beautiful. Most importantly, the staff was wonderful. They brought us little desserts and champagne for my son’s birthday surprise! The view was great and the surrounding area was lovely. Coffee and restaurants were all right in the hotel. Can’t wait to go back. "

"I was pleasantly surprised with the friendly staff and my beautiful room which opened up to a patio and grass and a sandy beach like area. The evening was quiet and the fire pits were lit with a nice surrounding seating area. I was very happy with my stay at this hotel, I would stay there again."
