"The STAFF is amazing, courteous and always smiling and wiling to help. The room needs updating, carpet was old and dingy (cannot vacuum anymore). Bathroom is old but clean. It is in a very convenient location close to shops, metro, bus stops and Central Park. We walked almost everywhere. Again the staff's attitude is what I really enjoyed in this hotel. "

"Pod39 is perfectly located for business trips as it is right across the street from my office. The young staff are energetic and helpful and in the case of this trip - went out of their way to get me a room for early check in. Rooms are as the describe - pods- spartan, small and well designed for the minimum needs of sleep and shower. I always have a great stay here and this was no exception. Viva la Pod39! "

"This was the first Hilton Club property we have stayed at, and the stay could not have been better. Especially since somehow we were upgraded to a one bedroom from a studio, though I assume you can’t rely on that happening very often. However, it was a great way to start to our 5 day NYC stay. The room was spacious, modern, and equipped with every amenity you could want. The staff was extremely friendly, considerate and helpful. All in all, a great choice. "

"Great location. Nice sized rooms that are comfortable, but no housekeeping services provided even when we asked for clean towels and more coffee supplies. Also want to sell you a timeshare so you have to deal with that at check-in. Billing itself as a "resort" but not really a resort."
