I stayed there Easter weekend with my daughter and niece (minors) and there was a cockroach in our room. Cleaning staff didn’t even clean or pick up the cockroach after I killed it. I asked to speak to the hotel manager and they never called me - even though they said they would and I followed up multiple times. Staff chased me in the hotel restaurant because he forgot I paid the bill for dinner, caused a scene and didn’t even apologize. Most hotels will check you in if your room is ready - this hotel wanted to charge $150USD to go to the room that was ready and available a couple hours early. I stayed at the intercontinental hotel and I arrived at 11am and my room was available and they gave it to us - no upcharge or anything. Just a much better hotel chain for cleanliness and service.

Smooth check in and out. Bottles of water provided at front desk upon check in. Staff made me feel welcome.
Great view from my room. Room is spacious, so as bathroom and closet. So clean!
Only one restaurant which is Ok. Small cafe was already closed by the time our time spend in hotel. Eating Choice inside hotel is limited but many other choices around the hotel.
Less then 10mins walk from Grand Central, which is an easy transport from JFK by LIRR and AirTran.
I will stay here again.
