「We enjoyed a wonderful short stay in Yorkshire and were made to feel so welcome in this lovely cottage, Sue really went above and beyond to make our visit special. Next time we’ll be sure to make use of the fabulous courtyard if the weather permits!」

「It was a nice hotel and service is generally very good. Felt like northern hospitality. Like how they don't charge service charge as standard on things like restaurant service. Rooms are quite spacious but views could be better. No mini fridge and no slippers as standard which I found surprising for a 5* hotel. Disappointed Bertams restaurant was closed when we visited so only had 2 options available. The setting is secluded which is very nice. Breakfast was OK...pretty standard but not...

「10/10. Gorgeous hotel, fabulous spa area with sauna, steam room and whirlpools. Very very clean. Only downside was the thin walls of the hotel and a bridal party shouting in the halls at 6am but I would be stressed too so I’ll let them off :)」

「Was staying on a business trip. Had a good hour of swimming in the large pool then steam room and sauna. The changing area is under renovation so was a bit confusing on how to get to the pool after changing but I am sure it will be great once completed. Had the hot tower of chicken wings and strips with nachos with a couple of beers, great food and service. Will stay again」

「Very disappointing to arrive on site a 1845 and discover that there was no restaurant facilities and no bar available for a drink. The booking confirmation stated that both were open 11 till late, but it's actually 6pm when the restaurant closes. There is an expensive shop open to buy student type food, but we didnt fancy pot noodle when we were hoping to be dining in the restaurant. Very misleading information. 」

「When I arrived a warm welcome was received by the receptionist. The room was ok, Basic breakfast in the morning but was enough before heading on the road.」
