The write-up by Hotels.com , and the price of the rooms suggested/promissed something better—— for us , it was a basic hotel, with basic facilities—- pub-bar type “restaurant”, -crowded and noisy and cramped—dood was pub-grub really — nothing special —- room basic with low budget furnishings , bathroom the same— almost travelLodge or premier inn quality—- a place to speel - but not worth what they charge 」

「Beautiful 1790’s property in Central Paisley serving excellent food, lovely service, wonderful hosts. Very comfortable beds, beautiful bathing and shower, very spacious and comfortable accommodation. Cozy and warm , we were welcomed and pampered. A special stay for us.」

「Great hotel. Everything seemed to be just right. Service was there when you needed it and not there when you didn’t. Minor issue with vegan ingredient availability but nothing else wrong. 」

「I found this hotel by accident and what a brilliant find! The quality of decor and furnishings are first class, this is complimented by the fantastic service from the staff and the qualityvof food. I have now booked one of their sister hotels which looks equally as good. 」

「The accommodation is “Airb&b style”, so no service on site. However when I had a problem with access I got immediate attention on the phone. The room was reasonably clean, bedlinen and towels spotless. Shower, hot water etc. working fine, shower gel supplied, kettle available with plenty of tea and coffee. A wee bit shabby outside of the room but I gather they are still working on it. Cleaner/maid friendly. Value for money and I suspect but don’t know for sure that it will improve...

「Nice little hitel with bar and food downstairs. Great quality furnishings, tea and biscuits, iron and board, hairdryer, big tv. Room felt very cosy. Limited parking, room was roasting due to pipe runs in the wall but the windows opned ok.」

「Lovely hotel, looked recently refurbished and very well situated on the edge of Largs, overlooking the beach, Cumbrae and the highlands and islands in the distance. Staff were all very helpful, breakfast had a good variety of items - both hot and cold, there is a safe, private car park and the bedroom and bathroom were both spotless and comfortable. Regular bus services made for easy travelling up the west coast for the ferry services at Wemyss Bay for Bute and Gourock for Dunoon if you wanted...
