「Unique place to stay but I am glad we were only there one night. The apartment had limited seating (only one loveseat) and super heavy fire doors between each room. Done for fire code but I have never seen its like!」

「Very nice property and friendly/helpful staff. The room was super hot when we got there. Previous guests must have cranked up the radiators. Bathroom never really cooled down, and can’t turn off the heated floors which heat the room. We opened the windows high but you risk birds and insects. Staff provided a fan which helped bit hard to sleep when too hot. Other than that all was very nice stay. 」

「This was a very nice place to stay for 2 nights. I hiked Ben Nevis and did some rock climbing in the area. Super convenient and in the country. Comfy bed, nice shower. All these smaller properties are hard to book online. I thought I booked 2 twin beds and ended up sharing a king bed with my mom. This happened several times. It was likely my fault. 」

Website and Expedia said breakfast option for full Scottish breakfast for a fee from 7:30-9:30 was not an option. The host acted like we were stupid when we asked for it. There is a restaurant below the rooms that you can order off the menu, but not until 9:00. Very misleading. We had 2 rooms reserved. One room only had 1 drinking glass with no way to get another. 「Room was comfortable enough. Bathroom was quite small. Staff is very hard working and wear a lot of hats doing multiple jobs at once. Nice that a warm breakfast buffet is included. If you’re looking for a stay far from anything this is your place. 」

「An excellent, comfortable and stylish stay in the peaceful highlands a short distance from Fort Augustus. Well located for exploring the area around Loch Ness and the Eastern side of the North Coast 500, we also took a day trip to the Isle of Skye which was easy enough. Thoroughly impressed by the facilities in the cottage, very tastefully decorated and with everything you might need whilst away. The tea, coffee and milk on arrival was a nice touch.
