「Overall it was ok the park & area was lovely we have realised we need an ramp for our dog as he found the caravan stairs a bit hard to get up as he is elderly and not so nimble on his feet but only caravans for dogs are the stair ones,the bar on site was not open until the last night of our holiday which I found a bit annoying but not enough to dampen our holiday spirtits」

「The Hill hotel has very tasteful décor, is very well maintained and the owner is very friendly and helpful. We had a large room and tasty hot breakfast. My only little problem was that we had some difficulty working the new ecco shower. 」

「I loked the customer service the gentleman was clearly serving in the bar area, but took the time to carry my luggage upstairs to my room. The room was pretty basic which is what.id expected for the low price, but the room was clean, well facilitated and the bed was very comfortable. As i was just there for an overnight stay before an all weekend shift in a care service locally i certainly had no complaints. I would consider staying again Janice」

「Hotel is clean, warm and friendly with some breathtaking walks close to the hotel. Exceptionally dog friendly staff who all made a fuss of our pet. Would definitely recommend.」

Unfortunately we’re informed that the restaurant was closed that evening which we would have preferred to know beforehand so we could have arranged something else. Room clean but a little on the small side. Hotel could do with a little updating but it looked as if that was in hand. Breakfast plentiful and good along with the service 」

Lovely flowers fruit and homemade shortbread made it a special treat.
