「Great lobby and breakfast room」

「I was in town for a full marathon. Traveling With my mom and two dogs. I was looking for a dog friendly, convenient location, affordable place to sleep comfortable and shower. This motel met all my expectations. I do recommend.」

「Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!」

「Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in. 」

「Place was beautiful but is a pets friendly. The place was not cleaned properly dog hair was found all over the sofas and bed also they didn't leave enough supplies. But we love the cavins and the views were beautiful. 」

The added bar area is awesome and the entire staff is just amazing. The things that haven't changed are the great service and the literally the best breakfast you will ever have. 「The unit and location were nice. The main concern I have was that when there was a fire emergency in the building, the notification was very faint and I almost ignored it instead of evacuating. The phones were not working to call the front desk to ask about the faint noise I was hearing. This is a potential hazard and I suggest that it get fixed. I also was unaware that the parking was down the hill and a shuttle is required to get to the building from the parking. That should be in the...

「John & Marsha are the perfect hosts of this beautiful B&B in the mountains. Breakfast was tasty and unique each day we were there. The room was on the second floor which require a fairly steep flight of stairs. It is central to the area; Blowing Rock, Boone,Banner Elk, etc. 」
