Pros - we got to see parts of Tuscany in a limited time which was ideal for our few days in Florence Leila , our guide, and Gabrielle , our driver, were very good . Leila was helpful and friendly. Gabrielle drove safely . Lunch at the Vineyard was very tasty and the wines were good . With options to buy . Cons - This was a 12 hour trip and actual time at Pisa, Vineyard,San Gimignano and Siena added up to about 4.5 hours so we were on the coach a lot ! We had approximately an hour at each place ( a little longer at the vineyard where we had lunch ) . So it was whistlestop tour . We did enjoy the day and it gave us a peak at places we may visit again for a longer visit .

We are very disappointed with the long distances we had to walk from the bus drop-off/pick-up points to the attractions. Here are some examples: 1. From the Tour Meeting Point at SM Novella Train Station to the Tour Bus Pick-up Location - approximately 0.5 miles at 7:30 AM, crossing streets with heavy traffic due to rush hour. 2. Pisa - approximately one mile, mostly flat, from the Bus Parking Lot to the Tower and back. 3. San Gimignano - approximately one mile, climbing steep hilly streets and stairs, from the Bus Parking Lot to the City’s Door and back. 4. Siena - approximately 1.5 miles, climbing steep hilly streets and stairs, from the Bus Parking Lot to the Guided Tour Meeting Point and back. In regard to the lunch, it was more like a snack than a lunch. We were served two slices of cheese (tasting size), three slices of pepperoni, one slice of prosciutto, one slice of bread with butter (tasting size), and one slice of bread with paté (tasting size).

It’s a great way to visit Tuscany in a day. It’s a big tour but very organized. The first stop was Pisa for 1 hour. My recommendation is find a cafe and use the bathroom and then walk around to take pictures. Second was Chianti wine tasting with lunch. Amazing view and great part of the tour. The third was San Gimignano which was my favorite. Gorgeous! Last was Siena. It’s big so the time is limited. Guide Layla was wonderful.
