We do not provide pickups. Shuttle speedboat rides are bumpy & not suitable for: infants, the old, injured or weak, and or pregnant; catamaran option is advised. Pictures of the catamaran experience are at the end. Speedboat and catamaran tickets are NOT interchangeable. A cash-only tourist port tax of 29,000 COP must be paid in person at the pier. Please arrive on time. Account for a rainy forecast and be prepared. Beach and swim attire is a must. We reserve the right to cancel or change a stop due to weather. PLEASE NOTE that this tour offers three ticket options, each providing a distinct experience. Our day begins at Muelle de la Bodeguita with a swift check-in, followed by boarding either a shuttle speedboat or catamaran, based on your ticket selection. The 45-minute journey to the Rosario Islands includes a scenic view of Bocachica Fort. Catamaran passengers will disembark for a guided tour of the fort lasting 45 minutes and then snorkeling at a nearby lagoon for over 1 hour with floaters and snorkeling masks provided. Speedboat customers will continue directly to their first island stop. Leisure ticket holders will enjoy a peaceful resort, while Party ticket guests will head to the vibrant Barú Island. Both options include beach beds and beach access for relaxation, swimming, and exploration.

Speedboat ticket holders (both Leisure and Party) will proceed to a second beach club, where a complimentary lunch and beach beds are included. Guests can continue swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the day with the group. On select days, both groups will also enjoy a scenic pass by Pablo Escobar’s former mansion. Catamaran guests will continue their journey after snorkeling, arriving at an exclusive island resort. Here, they can relax, explore, and purchase lunch on-site for approximately $10 USD, as it is not included in the ticket.

Catamaran ticket holders will continue their free-time at the island resort and then begin their return to Cartagena in the afternoon, enjoying scenic views of the city’s bay which is perfect for photos and a relaxing end to the tour. The catamaran is scheduled to arrive back around 3:30 PM. Speedboat guests will visit the third island, Leisure ticket will have continued access to beach beds and water relaxation while Party ticket will visit Cholon (Cholon Island is loud, unmaintained, crowded, & overpriced. Choose ticket carefully.) Finally speedboat tickets will proceed to return to Cartagena between 4:00 - 4:30 PM. Please continue by reading ADDITIONAL INFO below.
