Absolutely the worst tour experience in decades (since 1996) traveling to Europe. The tour guide seemed to be walking extremely fast and in a hurry. She seemed utterly unprepared, provided no information at all about anything. Even worse, we paid more than $200 for 3 tickets and got no tickets but merely vouchers which were absolutely useless to reenter the museum. After a very brief glance a the Mona Lisa (she merely guided us to the room and essentially disappeared afterwards). She kept the tickets to herself and no one from the tour company was around to provided tickets and vouchers cannot be used to reenter. BEWARE, you will not get any tickets and will.not be allowed to reenter if you pass the security area. Practically a scam.

This was a very expensive experience for what we gained. We were instructed to meet in a certain area marked by a flag that never appeared until we finally asked a security guard that had one in his car.,We had arrived early to ensure we would find the meeting place in time, only to walk around the whole diameter of the Louvre asking many people if they knew where we should be .Once we found the spot, others gathered with us having the same issue iof trying to find the spot. After we were gathered into our group we set off with a young lady who led us, with no talking or volunteering information as we passed through the building. Her plan was to get us into the room where the Mona Lisa was as fast as she could, because once we were all in the room, she left us to be in our own to wander, no information pamplets were given us so we wandered like lost sheep in an environment that was so intense with history. The cost of this experience was very, very disappointing, a real rip-off.

The tour took a long time to begin and the first tour guide could not get us into the exhibit. She was later replaced and a second tour guide got us in the Mona Lisa room. Unfortunately it was about 50% full and 10 -15 rows of people at the front. Although we got in, we did not receive tickets and it seemed we needed them to get into other sections of the museum as we were no longer a part of a group that only went to the ML room. We did have access to all floors of exhibits in the building wing of the ML
