Along the way, you will get nearby recommendations. For example, the city hall where you can visit the world's most precise mechanical clock (for free!)
Stroeget (Pass by)
Copenhagen's famous pedestrian shopping street, Strøget, is actually not a street but an area covering four pedestrian streets and three squares. When it opened in 1962, it was the world's longest pedestrian street. Visit beautiful passages branching off Strøget to solve creative quests.
Grabrodretorv (Pass by)
Visit the historic Gråbrødretorv (Greyfriars square) named after the monastery ‘Gråbrødrekloster that was located here 1238 to 1530. You will also learn about the Great Copenhagen Fires, which destroyed almost all of Copenhagen's mediaeval and Renaissance heritage and solve a quest with help from the beautifully coloured houses.
Rundetarn (Pass by)
Rundetårn (round tower) was built in the 17 century by King Christian IV as an astronomical observatory. It is famous for its equestrian staircase (a.k.a. riders' staircase), which is a gently sloping ramp that can be climbed by horses. The tower is part of the Trinitatis Complex, which also includes a chapel, a church and a library, where Hans Christian
Christiansborg Slot (Pass by)
Christiansborg Palace houses all three supreme powers and the iconic Christiansborg Tower is Copenhagen's tallest structure (106 metres/347 ft), surpassing the city hall tower by a mere 40 centimetres (15 in). This stop is 10 minutes from the end stop, where you will be able to read a hidden message and find a surprise, if you solved most the posts along the way!
