Arriving at the unassuming shop in Paris, my mum and I were wondering what we had signed up for, however take no notice of the location of this activity, it is one of the best experiences we had during our trip. We were in a small group of 6 and led by an expert chef as to how to make delicious croissants and pain au chocolats. The chef made it very straightforward and easy for absolute beginners such as ourselves and she helped when needed, but let us do all of the steps ourselves, making the end result a real accomplishment. She made it so much fun and she even made some cinarolls during the class for us to have as well. A fantastic experience.

My sister suggested this as a group exercise with my husband and me. In all my times visiting Paris, I’ve never considered this. But what a unique and personal way to connect with the culture in a fun and educational setting. Delphine is a superb teacher and speaks amazing English and is so patient and helpful and created a tasty, engaging and non-intimidating environment. The small groups made it more personal. You get to make at least 3 different types of pastries and they’re all delicious.
