El tour a las Cataratas del Niágara con Amigo Tours tuvo aspectos positivos, especialmente la impresionante belleza del parque y las explicaciones puntuales de Arturo, el guía. Sin embargo, la experiencia se vio opacada por la insistencia constante en el tema de las propinas. Aunque entiendo que es común mencionar este punto, Arturo lo repitió en cada parada, enfatizando que debía ser superior a 10 dólares, lo cual resultó incómodo y transmitía una sensación de presión. Esto afectó la dinámica del tour y restó profesionalismo. Además, el trayecto es muy largo (7 u 8 horas de ida y vuelta) para disfrutar solo 3 horas en el parque, lo cual dejó una sensación de desequilibrio. Si bien las Cataratas son espectaculares, creo que la logística del tiempo y la experiencia general pueden mejorarse.

Overall this was a poor experience. I do not believe that all cultures were catered to equally. Specifically, my mother and I were asked to move to the back of the bus “for more room and to be more comfortable”, however no other party were given that option. There was a huge lack in inclusivity and we did not enjoy our time. I also did not like the African American driver departed the trip prior to the conclusion of the trip thus having a driver who was driving erratically receive the tips. This could have been an amazing experience had everyone been consistent and operating with integrity. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

On the way back we were 10 minutes so they left us behind in Niagara Falls and I called and requested them to stall the bus so we can catch them up with a taxi and they flatly refused. We were really worried as I am from Australia and weren’t sure how to get back to NY which is 8 hours away. We had to call a few places and since it’s so far away, it was hard to get a taxi. We had to spend extra money and find our own way back which was very frustrating and scary.
