Mostar

From Kravice, we drive to Mostar to visit the old town and famous old bridge, the most important monument of oriental architecture in this town. In Mostar we visit oriental side of the city with famous old bridge originally built in 1566 as the most important Ottoman monument  in their 400 years long rule in Bosnia and Herzegovina. First when we come there, you will have a short walking tour with a local guide and after the tour free time to visit the place on your own and to enjoy local meals.  From Mostar we travel back to Dubrovnik, and our day trip ends with complimentary drop off at your pick up location. Return to Dubrovnik following a short break and another opportunity to enjoy Turkish coffee (own expense).

Really informative trip. Was good to understand a bit more about the history of Yugoslavia. The tour guide was good in Mostar. Plenty of time to look around. Then onto waterfall which was lovely even though the weather was not so great. It is a long day but the breaks in between make it feel manageable. Coach driver excellent. Definitely recommend this trip.

The tour was truly beautiful, Mostar is such a beautiful city, and the guide was wonderful. The only reason I took off a star is the timing, they did the waterfalls in the afternoon and the sun was behind the falls at that point, horrible for pictures and even with the naked eye. There was a tiny boat tour that would take you closer to the waterfalls but with only a one hour stop at the falls there was no time to take it. The guide mentioned we could either take the stairs straight down to the falls, or take a longer panoramic walk from above. I would just take the stairs. The walk added 10 minutes of our limited time and the falls were too far away to appreciate properly from above anyway. I would just take the stairs right away. I highly recommend the tour!

Overall the trip was fantastic. Worth doing if you don't have a full Dubrovnik itinerary. I've not tried the Montenegro trip yet though to compare. I did have a small reason to complain but Viatour dealt with this promptly. Therefore still 5 stars.

Mostar is a small old town and very busy with tourists but definitely worth a visit, we stayed there for 3 hours which included a 40 minute walking tour with local guide, Kracive waterfalls was a nice place to walk around but nothing else to do.

Mostar is a beautiful old town with lovely buildings and cobble streets. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit despite the torrential rain which luckily dried up by lunchtime. The trip to the Kravice waterfalls was amazing and the sun was shining.

Amazing day! Timing was perfect did not feel like a super long day with lots of driving. The walking tour in Mostar was super informative and interesting. The additional information on the bus was also a nice touch. Bosnia and Herzegovina is such a unique country, completely different to Croatia despite the proximity. Would highly recommend this as a day trip!

This was a great day trip from Dubrovnik. The air conditioned bus was very comfortable but a little cramped when full. The guide and driver were excellent. I can’t remember our guide’s name, unfortunately but I just say that the energy she invested in the experience was to be commended. Mostar was so worth the trip but the waterfalls could have been left out. I’m sure lots of people loved this element but I’ve seen a lot of waterfalls, so it is lost on me as an activity.
