This tour wasn't good and I wouldn'trecommend it. Only the initial meeting point was easy to find but all you get is a transport to the location and back. The Mercedes mini bus they use looks fancy but has tiny seats. We are.average size people and barely fit. You have to be quite petite to sit comfortably. Windows were all fogged up and nobody could see anything along the way. On the way back, one of the passangers went up to the driver to ask him to do something about the windows so we could at least see the sights on our way back. The guide we got (Ana) must have been new (?) She was very inexperienced. Lacked overall organization skills. She didnt even try to keep our small group together; wait for everyone to gather before speaking. Speak up so everyone could hear her and make sure everyone have heard. We had to ask fellow tourists for our meeting point and time because the guide spoke to only 3 people in front of her and didn't bother with the rest of us at the back.

Monserrat is an inspiring beautiful experience. A visit should be on everyone's list when visiting Barcelona or the area. The history of the monastery abd the Black Madonna is fascinating. The mountain itself looks like no other mountain and truly has an otherworldly feel. The views are spectacular. We added the winery visit and enjoyed sampling the local award winning wines along with a delicious tapas. An inspiring history & story. Well worth it.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Marc, was filled with lots of useful information about the surrounding area and Montserrat. We are so glad we made this day trip. Montserrat is beautiful. It would have been nice to have some extra time there, but we did have time to take the funicular to the top and see the black Madonna as well as do some tastings. A very worthwhile trip!

Montserrat is a beautiful place!!! Our transportation was comfortable and the trip was not long. Our guide was also very knowledgeable and pointed out interesting tidbits on the drive over and at the venue as well. BUT I think that the time given to us to explore Montserrat as way too short!!! This is just such a beautiful and enchanting place with AMAZING views and so much to see in just 2 hours! It was just not enough time to fully enjoy our time here- you would need at least 4 hours here!
