We had a fantastic day touring Mont St. Michel with My and the Birds! Our guide was fun, quirky, and incredibly knowledgeable—she made the drive and the history come to life with charm and energy. The small group size (just 8 of us) made for a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We departed Bayeux at 8am and reached Mont St. Michel in about an hour and a half. After a brief introduction, we had roughly two hours to explore the island at our own pace, which gave us time to soak in the sights and enjoy a leisurely lunch. The timing was perfect, and we were back in Bayeux by 4pm. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an engaging and stress-free visit to one of France’s most iconic landmarks!

Arthur our guide was a fount of historical knowledge about Mont Saint-Michel. The island on which the cathedral and town are built is beautiful and has a fascinating history. If you do visit, be sure to hire a tour guide (we’ve been served well by Viator), as you would miss a lot of details and historical context which bring the place to life. Definitely worth the trip if you are visiting the area (e.g., Normandy D-Day tour) and looking for other activities.

Marion was exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. She answered all our dumb questions and even looked up some she didn’t immediately know the answers to. My wife and I throughly enjoyed her guidance. There was plenty of time to complete the formal tour as well as provide personal free time to explore outside the group. We were able to walk back from the island to the van with plenty of time. Highly recommended!
