This half-day tour lasts approximately 4 hours and begins in Horta, heading straight to the natural reserve of the Caldeira of Faial. From there, we drive toward the island’s interior, continuing to the Ribeira das Cabras viewpoint, where you can appreciate the impressive volcanic alignment of the Capelo Peninsula.

Next, we visit the dramatic landscape of the Capelinhos Volcano, with its desert-like terrain covered in volcanic ash—a striking reminder of the 1957 eruption. On the return to Horta along the south coast, we stop at Varadouro to enjoy stunning views of Morro de Castelo Branco, before concluding the tour back in Horta.
