I thought this was a great tour of an artisanal vintage tequila fabrica along with some side exploration of an interesting cave by a gorgeous little outdoor event venue. Then there was a fun little tasting at a local restaurant with that. Off to Tequila where there was plenty of time to explore the zocalo in the town of Tequila and a delicious lunch at a restaurant adjacent. The last stop was an interesting and expansive party venue complete with great music in a festive atmosphere. Francisco was a great guide, bilingual, charming and with a beautiful singing voice that offered us a perfect little unexpected concert. It was a packed and full day, completely worth the investment.

Wow, we had such a great (and tipsy) time! I went on my birthday and people kept giving me shots lol. Our host, Francisco, was so patient (you can tell he's used to dealing with drunk people) and super knowledgable about tequila that I can really appreciate the process now. We tasted the best tequila fresh from the distilleries so much so that my uncle who usually gets bad hangovers from tequila said that he was perfectly fine the next day after the tour. I chose this tour over the Tequila Train because I wanted to visit and support the boutique mom-and-pop distilleries, especially Tres Mujeres since it's owned and operated by 3 sisters.
