Malcolm was our tour guide, and he did a phenomenal job—kind and cheerful from the very start. You could tell he truly loves his job! This tour is a full day of adventure, and he picked us up from our hotel at 5:45 AM, which is an early start. It was impressive that he remained so warm and kind even at that hour. The drive to each location was enjoyable, as Malcolm shared fascinating history and was both fun and knowledgeable. He offered snacks and water multiple times and made sure everyone was comfortable and had the opportunity to use the restroom. I was thoroughly impressed with this experience. The caves were remarkably beautiful. At one point, there was complete silence on the boat inside the caves, allowing us to truly take in their breathtaking beauty. There were so many incredible sights and fascinating things to learn that you won’t find anywhere else. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone! Thanks, Casey and Tori

Grant was an outstanding driver and guide, making the journey both enjoyable and informative. The Waitomo Caves were a breathtaking sight, and Rotorua offered a fascinating educational experience—seeing a Kiwi bird up close was a highlight. The drive was made comfortable with snacks, drinks, and engaging commentary along the way. Having power outlets was convenient, though complimentary WiFi would have been appreciated.
