Our bus experienced mechanical issues and broke down on the second last stop for the day. We were stranded for approx. 2hrs. We were unable to attend the final winery as it had closed for the day. The company sent us back to their depot via a taxi and the arranged a second taxi to take us back to our hotels. I understand that things happen and am in no way blaming our tour guide who was very apologetic and was clearly put on the spot by the whole situation. He then told us that the bus was having issues during the week and he had told his boss to not use this bus until it was fixed. The boss still made his employee use the bus knowing full well it wasn’t running properly. What I am most disappointed in, which has led me to writing this review, is the fact that I have emailed the company to explain what happened and to request some sort of reimbursement as we did not get to attend all the winery stops advertised (that we had paid for!). No one has contacted me to respond to my enquiry
