Let’s start with why there’s only 4/5 stars. The trip back after everything left me physically exhausted with how loud and obnoxious The DJ was. This was the only complaint from everyone I spoke to. I don’t need to hear Lil’ Wayne scream into a mic for an hour while trying to enjoy delicious food. THAT being said the snorkeling was breathtaking, the rest of the crew was fantastic, the guide up Dunnes River Falls was awesome and the Falls themselves was beautiful. Expect a large crowd, it’s a huge tourist spot. BRING WATER SHOES!! So 4 out of 5 because the majority of the trip was fantastic!!

Boat is too crowded. Boat ride is shorter than you think. Snorkeling is like rush hour traffic but in the ocean. the food was bad, the drinks were limited (1 bartender trying to fill orders for like 80 people) there is no scenery and the DJ simply was not very good. Dunns river falls was amazing the climb was cool but the vendors are WAY too pushy and the guides while wonderful DEMAND TIPS was it wroth the experience? Dunn's river falls was the catamaran was NOT. I have nothing bad to say about the guides/lifeguards on the boat the were nice the staff was nice but the experience was not. too short. due to the risk of injury on the falls they don't server drinks till after the falls. then they get the boat moving as soon as they can to limit your ability to actually get a drink and with only 1 bartender trying to server aprox 80 people GOOD LUCK..

The snorkelling and falls experience were very good. Staff were attentive, well organized and welcoming. But the ‘party with the staff’ was awful, largely focused on the DJ yelling into the microphone and music at deafening volume. And the tour sadly lacked any environmental orientation or concern: picked up live animals, the coral reef looked haggered, and stopped to view a cramped cage of dolphins at the Sandals resort. No for those interested in an ecotour or authentic cultural experience.

Was unable to make the trip due to injury on another excursion. I emailed the company the day before. When I requested a refund through expedia it was refused by Island routes stating they came to the hotel and we did not come down. This would have been our 3nd time on the Catamaran day trip we do it everytime we go. I cantacted the person who emailed from island routes with the notification we could not go. Now a different rep says cannot be issued. This is not how you earn repeated business. We will no longer use Island routes or expedia for future trips.
