The trip was absolutely stunning and very fun - it was the perfect day trip! Our tour guide Aled was very helpful and ensured we got the most out of our day. He also had a lot of local knowledge about Auckland and the destinations we visited. The Cathedral Cove was beautiful, and we enjoyed a swim in the big waves, and the Hot Water Beach was a very relaxing experience.

A great hike! If you’re in pretty good shape you can accomplish the hike to the summit in about 1 hour & 45 minutes. The views at the top are awesome - but beware of the wasps. For some reason they love it up there’

Self-guided and at your own pace. Would definitely recommend booking an earlier ferry to have enough time to summit the island and see other things, we took the 12.15 ferry and felt rushed to do what we wanted and make it back for the last ferry of the day (3.30pm)
