What you can expect

Get ready for a day full of discoveries as we depart early in the morning to the impressive Peninsula Valdés Protected Natural Area, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. This natural treasure, located on the Atlantic coast of Patagonia, is a sanctuary for an extraordinary variety of marine and terrestrial fauna, making it a must-see destination for nature lovers.
Our adventure begins with a tour of the wide, undulating landscapes of the peninsula, where grasslands stretch as far as the eye can see, interrupted only by the Salinas Grande and Chica, two geological wonders that are part of the landscape. We continue our journey to Punta Delgada, the southernmost point of the peninsula, to admire the panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and feel the force of nature in its purest form.
As we advance, we arrive at Punta Cantor, from where we can observe the majestic geological formation of Caleta Valdés, one of the most iconic natural jewels of the peninsula. Here, depending on the time of year, the beaches come to life with the presence of southern elephant seals, the largest seals on the planet. This is a unique natural spectacle, a dance of wildlife that few have the opportunity to witness in such a pristine environment.
Lunch, which is not included, will be an opportunity to rest and recharge your batteries in the picturesque settings of Puerto Pirámides or Caleta Valdés, two enclaves that offer not only a break, but also the possibility of continuing to enjoy the natural environment.
Depending on the season and the disposition of the marine fauna, we can modify our route to visit Punta Norte, another point of great interest on the peninsula, where the possibilities of seeing more marine and terrestrial fauna are equally fascinating.
Before heading back, we will make a stop at the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center, a space dedicated to the dissemination of the natural wealth of the peninsula. Here, you will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the biodiversity that makes this place a world heritage site, as well as learn about the conservation efforts that protect this fragile ecosystem.
Throughout the excursion, you will be surrounded by Patagonian wildlife at its best. We will have great opportunities to spot species such as guanacos, choiques, foxes, maras, armadillos and skunks, which live freely in this vast region.
The typical route takes us from Puerto Madryn to Puerto Pirámides, Caleta Vald&ea
